“Winter Tradition” is an upstairs-downstairs larp set in the beginning of the 1910s. The story revolves around the family and servants of four close friends. Years ago the then young friends met at the hunting estate of the Astly family, and since then they have returned every year. It is now one of their fondest traditions. Over time they and their families have grown into a larger gathering of different aspirations and fates. Tightly knit, but far apart, indeed.

Seasons change, years and years, and time goes by and has now come again. Another year, another Winter Tradition, and this year the families are even more eager to meet. This year the house is inhabited by guests and families, and the closest servants, all arriving with their secrets. They are ready to relive the old traditions, and perhaps the sentences that were never said out loud will be this year? The air is buzzing with anticipation, for this year will be all about making the right arrangements for the next generation, and securing their futures. But perhaps the next generation has an opinion of their own? Will they shape their own lives without the burden of older traditions? And who will ultimately decide in the end? The patriarchs and matriarchs? The young? Or perhaps the close and confidant servants?
